ISLAMABAD: At the Central Police Office in Islamabad, National Highways and Motorway Police officers threw a departure party in honor of IG Sultan Ali Khowaja. After serving as Inspector General of Police, IG Sultan Ali Khowaja is retiring from the National Highways and Motorway Police. IG Sultan Ali Khowaja has held a variety of jobs over his tenure. Additional IG, Muhammad Zubair Hashmi; Additional IG, Ali Ahmed Sabir Kayani; DIsG, Saad Akhtar Bharwana; Asghar Ali; zonal and sector Commanders; senior officers, staff, and officials were present at the farewell ceremony to commemorate IG Sultan Ali Khowaja’s outstanding contributions during his tenure.
The attendees conveyed their sincere appreciation for IG Sultan Ali Khowaja’s inspirational leadership and steadfast dedication to the NHMP’s purpose. In particular, they emphasized a number of his leadership’s achievements, including raising daily allowances, instituting an axel load regimen, introducing the Public Service Vehicle Management Information System (PSVMIS), and strengthening fines.
