ISLAMABAD: Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood, Vice Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), has released recommendations to help students prepare for the spring 2024 admissions process. In order to encourage the enrollment of as many out-of-school children as possible in the matriculation program, the vice chancellor has directed regional heads to raise awareness about free matriculation education for kids from Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan, and amalgamated districts (formerly known as FATA). He has given regional heads instructions to make sure that everyone who is interested in applying is aware of the possibility to continue their studies. In order to guarantee that matriculation and FA program prospectuses and admission forms are available at the locations closest to the students, Dr. Nasir has sanctioned the installation of prospectus selling sites at the Union Council level throughout the nation. In compliance with VC Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood’s directives, regional offices have established facility centers on campuses and notified the nation’s SWIFT centers to assist and mentor students.
