The 149th PMA Long Course, 14th Mujahid Course, 68th Integrated Course, and 23rd Women Cadet Course was paraded at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul today. 49 cadets from friendly countries are also among the cadets who graduated.
General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI (M), Chairman General Staff Committee was the chief guest and Turkish Chief of General Staff General Metin Gurak was the guest of honor.
CJCSC reviewed and addressed the parade. CJCSC and the Turkish Chief of General Staff presented awards to outstanding cadets.
Honorable Mention was awarded to Mohammad Nauman Abdulla, senior officer of the academy, and the President’s Gold Medal was awarded to Mohammad Abdullah Jawed, senior officer of the company in the 149th PMA Long Course. The Gold Medal of the Chairman of the Foreign Staff Committee was awarded to Fahad Bin Aqil Al Towarqi Al Fallaj, a dignitary from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The COAS cane was awarded to Ilyas Khan of the 14th Mujahideen Course. The Commander’s Medal was awarded to 68 Cadet Officer Denmark Sattara and 23 Cadet Officer Cadet Sher Bano.
The JCSC chairman congratulated the graduating cadets and the proud parents who graduated from college at PMA.
Speaking on the occasion, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza said, “Since its inception, PMA has remained the best center for cadets joining the Army and the Prime Minister’s Academy.
Over the years, PMA has also trained foreign cadets with excellent performance. The PMA’s professional philosophy has Today’s Parade is a good example of the good military discipline and outstanding morale of the academy and the Pakistan Army.
