Pakistan’s Protest Against Taliban In The Security Council

On the growing terrorism in the country Pakistan has once again indicted the TTP and other terrorist organizations operating from Afghanistan on the international forum those are responsible for the daily attacks in the country. It should be remembered that the government of Pakistan has been in contact with the Afghan authorities for several months in this regard to stop the infiltration of Afghanistan into Pakistan. But the Taliban leadership is guilty of criminal negligence by repeatedly acquitting itself of these terrorist attacks. After which Pakistan has been forced to raise this issue at the international forum that the Taliban movement is dangerous not only for Pakistan but also for the entire region. Due to not taking action against Taliban Pakistan and other organizations. Meanwhile Pakistan has raised the issue of terrorist attacks from Afghan soil in the Security Council. Munir Akram Pakistan’s representative in the Security Council has said that Pakistan is facing serious threats from the outlawed TTP and its other organizations. These organizations are involved in organized terrorism in Pakistan. He said that the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan is a big thereat. In addition Pakistan has also demanded an investigation in the Security Council about modern military weapons falling into the hands of terrorists. It should be remembered that since the withdrawal of US, forces from Afghanistan the incidents of terrorism have increased in Pakistan. Recently Pakistan launched an operation against unregistered Afghans, after that crimes are increasing. Meanwhile the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has also arrested the Afghan leader of the group involved in target killing, which has been involved in the killing of minority and religious leaders and other such groups are also active. On the other hand Taliban have started such measures at the government level that anger the people of Pakistan. The Taliban have decided to block Pakistan’s water by building a dam on the Chitral River, which becomes the Kabul River in Afghanistan. The ambitions of the Taliban regime for other countries in the region is not good. Afghanistan has also tried to tamper with the Amu River which is adjacent to the former Russian states, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan on the western border that these countries are also worried about. Thus the Taliban government is becoming dangerous for the region day by day, as China has also expressed reservations that Taliban should   enable itself to establish diplomatic relations with world. Therefore, it is necessary for the international community to support Pakistan in raising the issue of terrorism in the Security Council. However in past the international community did not support Pakistan as much as it deserved. This is the reason why long-lasting peace has not been established in the region. In this regard Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has also explained that TTP has modern weapons which is a cause of concern and terrorist groups are active in Pakistan with Indian support. Pakistan has expressed concern over the use of modern weapons for terrorism by the outlawed TTP and said that terrorist groups are active in Pakistan with Indian support. Therefore the world should take notice of this besides stop India from worsening the situation in the region. If sabotage activities by the Taliban and India continue in the region the long war fought against terrorism will be lost. Thus international community needs to take notice of the terrorism and insecurity in Pakistan.Especially in this regard NATO countries and the United Nations need to coordinate their opinions to rein in the Taliban around the world. It is remembered that Pakistan has made sacrifices to make the world an eyewitness of peace in every era. So the world also needs to respond positive to the above issue.
