SWAT: The appellate election tribunal Swat, dismissed on Tuesday the appeals of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Murad Saeed, challenging the rejection of their nomination papers by returning officers for contesting on NA-3 swat ii and NA-4 swat iii.
The appellate tribunal of the Peshawar high court’s Mingora bench dismissed Murad Saeed’s appeals against the decision taken by the returning officers, rejecting his nomination papers from NA-3 and NA-4, Swat
. The court noted that Murad’s power of attorney lacked attestation, and he didn’t personally appear before the tribunal. This decision is a significant political setback for the former federal minister.

“Tribunal Judge Justice Muhammad Naeem Anwar, in announcing the decision, sustained all objections against Murad and upheld the returning officer’s verdict.” Consequently, Murad Saeed, a two-time member of the National Assembly, is now out of the election race.
Apart from that in Malakand Division, More than 80 PTI candidates won appeals against the rejection of their nomination papers by the returning officers (ROs) concerned during the scrutiny process that concluded last weekend.
