LAHORE: LMKR has signed an agreement with Punjab Urban Land Systems Enhancement (PULSE) to develop and implement a next generation Land Records Management Information System (LRMIS).
Launched on July 26, this transformational initiative will modernize the administration of land records in Punjab, increasing transparency, efficiency and accessibility for landowners and stakeholders.
The new LRMIS will create a single, centralized database covering all land records across the province, including rural, urban, suburban and Katchi Abadi areas. By integrating traditional land records with advanced GIS technology, LMKR will deliver a robust and scalable solution that addresses the complexities of the existing system.
Through this initiative, PULSE will be able to provide land owners with a single source of truth for all property information, enabling easy access to digital title documents and facilitating land transactions. In addition, the system will equip government agencies with tools to streamline land records management, resolve property disputes and improve overall land management.
“We are excited to partner with PULSE on this groundbreaking project,” said Nasir Tanveer, Vice President of Technology Business & Alliances at LMKR. “Using our expertise in geospatial technologies, we will deliver a transformative LRMIS that will empower the citizens of Punjab, bring transparency and improve access to finance. This application will be instrumental in transforming the socio-economic landscape of Punjab.
