ISLAMABAD: For the polls on February 8, the Election Commission (ECP) requested on Monday that the Printing Corporation of Pakistan print 250 million ballots.
Sources claim that during its meeting today, the ECP authorized the printing of ballots for the general elections.
Its watermark would appear on the voting papers.
Three separate machines would print the ballots, according to sources. They also stated that strict security measures have been ordered for the Printing Corporation’s facilities while the ballot papers are being printed.

Recall that the nation’s first-ever use of watermarked voting papers occurred during the 2018 general elections.
