A confrontation erupted between PTI’s spokesperson and the Election Commission on social media.
Following harsh criticism of the Election Commission through PTI’s official X account, the spokesperson of the Election Commission responded directly under the post.
PTI’s post accused the Chief Election Commissioner of conducting unfair elections and depriving the public of their mandate.
PTI also alleged that former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja betrayed their positions and the nation.
In response, the Election Commission’s spokesperson replied under the same post, stating that during PTI’s tenure, all institutions were on the same page and facilitated each other. However, the Election Commission was not anyone’s facilitator then, nor is it today.
