District Police Hold Crime and Security Meeting, Orders Issued to Strengthen Security for Foreigners

Mardan: A crime and security meeting was chaired by DPO Mardan, Zahoor Babar Afridi, with police officers from across the district in attendance. The meeting resulted in key decisions to curb crime and enhance security measures for foreigners.

DPO Mardan instructed that the security of all foreigners residing in the district, particularly foreign tourists and archaeologists visiting historical sites, be further tightened. He emphasized the importance of safeguarding public places and government installations to ensure a secure environment for everyone.

He also noted that operations against criminal elements, drug dealers, and wanted offenders would be intensified. Additionally, the roles of the DRC (Dispute Resolution Council) and PLC (Public Liaison Committees) will be strengthened to reduce social issues and promote peace and order.
