Meanwhile Superintendent Sub Jail Batagram Shehryar removed from the post and suspended. A committee also formed for a transparent inquiry of the matter.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Interior Department issued a statement in this regard.
According to the statement the two-member inquiry committee consists of Deputy Inspector General of Prisoner Hazara Division and Superintendent District Jail Mansehra. The committee will investigate the matter and submit a report within two days.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtukhwa Ali Amin Gandapur said in the light of the investigation, the perpetrators of the alleged incident of rape will be severely punished. The perpetrators of the alleged incident will be brought to justice and full justice will be provided to the victim.
