Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and MNS University of Engineering and Technology Multan Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran met with Chairman Higher Education Commission Pakistan Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed in Islamabad today. On this occasion, teaching, research affairs and development projects were discussed in both universities. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran discussed in detail the pending development projects in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur due to lack of funds. He said that these projects are very important not only for the educational development of Jamia Islamia but also for the educational development of South Punjab. The Higher Education Commission should review these projects and release funds for their completion. The Chairman Higher Education Commission said that the Higher Education Commission is working for the development and improvement of universities across the country, including the universities of South Punjab. The ongoing development projects in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur should also be completed. For this purpose, he directed the Planning and Development Division of the Higher Education Commission to review these projects and take steps to provide funding for their revival. Later, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran also met with Advisor Finance HEC Engineer Dr. Mazhar Saeed and discussed the provision of funds for the development projects of Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
