Riyadh: A Saudi citizen has been executed for treason. According to the Saudi Ministry of Interior, the citizen, Mishaal bin Sulaiman Al-Ghanam, committed acts of treason, leading to his punishment.
The ministry stated that the convict had links to terrorist organizations and had provided shelter and assistance to terrorists.
Officials from the Ministry of Interior also said that the convict had engaged in criminal activities aimed at damaging peace and security.
It is worth noting that just a week ago, three other Saudi citizens were also executed on charges of treason in Saudi Arabia.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the three individuals were accused of supporting terrorist organizations and embracing extremist ideologies in an attempt to participate in violent acts.
