ISLAMABAD: Invincible Pakistan Army and Wapda A won the women’s and men’s divisions of the All Pakistan 3×3 Ramadan Trophy basketball tournament which concluded at Islamabad Sports Complex.
In a spirited contest between the Army and Lycans A Club, the Army team showed great skill and poise as they battled their way to the end of the game to claim the women’s title 12-5. Player of the night Aamina Mohsin scored 8 points, Hadiya added 3 points and Mahrukh Ali scored 3 points for Likans A.
In the final of the men’s division, Wapda A was too strong against Wapda B, continuing their good performance in the tournament and defeating their opponents and winning 21-10. Wapda aces Kaleemullah and Zain ul Hasan scored 9 and 7 points respectively to lead the winning side while Amir Farooq scored 6 points.
