Relief operations of Pakistan Army in view of heavy rains and floods in Gwadar
So far 5 people have been safely rescued from the cut-off area in Gwadar and Jeoni areas.
Army engineers have started road clearance and recovery of vehicles and dewatering of affected areas to remove water from markets and houses in Gwadar.
Apart from this, Pakistan Army is distributing ration and relief materials to the affected people of Gwadar.
A team of doctors from the Army Medical Corps has also been formed and teams of boats and swimmers have been prepared to evacuate people to safer places –
Apart from this, the Pakistan Army is conducting a full assessment of the damage caused by the rain in Gwadar on an emergency basis
